ZeKaeM in YUGOSLAV DRAMA THEATRE

Two performances of Zagrebačko pozorište mladih (ZeKaeM) will be performed at Ljuba Tadić Stage by the end of November.

Jelčić even dares to gossip about the great writer itself.

On Saturday, November 30th Yellow Line by Juli Zeh and Charlotte Roos directed by Ivica Buljan will be performed. Friday 1st November at 1pm, JDP Studio. Duration: 1h30.

Public Readings of two of the 5 texts, followed by a Q&A session with the playwrights and translators:

• Svu moju ljubav (Tout mon amour) novel writer Laurent Mauvignier’s first play is a beautiful, simple and powerful text on the family and its unbreakable bonds, on bereavement, trust, doubts and regrets.

Saturday 2nd November at 1pm. JDP Studio. Duration: 1h15.

• Himen (HymeN) in a style owing as much to theatre as to social networks, Lucie Depauw goes straight to the point to question our contemporary societies: the blurring between the real and virtual, the place of
women, the weight of tradition and the irrepressible quest for love.

Saturday 2nd November at 7pm. Venue Bojan Stupica, JDP. Duration: 1h30
Performance following a ten-day tour in Serbia, the company Théâtre Rictus from Nantes (France) will present the performance « Au pays des … » by Sylvain Levey, directed by Laurent Maindon. Written in 2011, the play sheds a humorous and cruel look on the ruthless mechanics of management in the business world as seen from the locker-room or Euro-Disneyland. One of the successes of the 2011 Avignon festival.

TRANS SCRIPT received the support of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, the National Centre for Theatre (Paris) and the playwrights’ society
(Paris) through the « copie privée » fund.
