Predrag Ejdus

Graduated from the Theatre, Radio, Film and Television Academy in 1972. That same year became a permanent member of the National Theatre in Belgrade except for the period between 1993–2001 when he transferred to the Yugoslav Drama Theatre. General Manager of the National Theatre in Belgrade between 2007–2008. Full time professor of acting at the Arts Academy in Belgrade.

Notable roles in YDT productions: Old Man (Himmelkommando); Jimmy Jack (Translations); Dr. Schon (Lulu); Zlatikum (Miser); Schwartz (The Supermarket); Shlomo (Mein Kampf); Karl Kraus (Last Days of Mankind).

Some of his characterisations have become unforgettable such as the role of Kir Janya at the National Theatre in Belgrade. He has appeared in a number of title roles at the National Theatre in Belgrade, National Theatre of Montenegro, Serbian National Theatre, Atelje 212 and Belgrade Drama Theatre..

Recipient of the Dobričin Prsten Award for a life’s work in theatre, three annual YDT awards and two Sterijino Pozorje Awards.
