Boris Isaković

Graduated in 1992 from the Arts Academy in Novi Sad with a performance of Vladimir in Waiting for Godot. Boris studied with Professor Boro Drašković. Was a member of the drama department of the Serbian National Theatre during the period between 1995–1998. Appointed head of the Drama department of the Serbian National Theatre during the 2001/02 season. Teaches acting at the Arts Academy in Novi Sad.

His first appearance at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre was in one of the theatre’s cult productions – The Power Keg (Kosta). Other notable roles in YDT productions:  President of the Privy Council (Leonce and Lena); Smrdich (Patriots); Frog (Boat for Dolls). Recipient of two YDT annual awards and three Sterijino Pozorje Awards.

Is one of the key members of the Serbian National Theatre; has worked successfully with the National Theatres in Subotica and Belgrade, Atelje 212, National Theatre of Montenegro, Bitef Theatre.
