Branislav Lečić

Graduated from Faculty of Dramatic Art. Joined Yugoslav Drama Theatre in 1981.

Roles in YDT productions: Rudolf Hoeller (Eve of Retirement); Hunter (Boat for Dolls); role of Hamlet in the 1992 production of Hamlet, role of Claudius in 2005; Henry Tile (Dog Waltz); Larry (Closer); Marquis / He (Folie a Deux); Cheda (Cabinet Minister’s Wife); Eddie (Fool for Love); Melchior (Spring’s Awakening); Pilot (The Little Prince); Leprshich (Patriots, 1986); Peer Gynt (Per Gynt); Inspector (The Balkan Spy); Zhanko (Croatian Faust); Sinan (Nahod Simeon). Recipient of Sterijino Pozorje award and four YDT annual awards.

Appeared in other theatres and independent productions as well as film and television: role of Crni in TV series Sivi Dom (The Grey Home), Aleksa Shantich in a TV series of the same name, Dragan (Bulevar Revolucije), Mustafa (Underground), King Aleksandar (Montevideo)…
