Dragan Mićanović

Graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Art. Joined Yugoslav Drama Theatre in 1993.

Other notable roles in YDT productions: Aleksa Žunjić (A Suspicious Person); Trigorin (The Seagull); Simon (The Power Keg); Alceste (Le Misanthrope); Sebastian, Valentine (Twelfth Night); Danny Shapiro (Sexual Perversity in Chicago); Duke Vuksan (Fake Emperor Šćepan Mali). In Hamlet he played Laertes in 1992, at the Globe Theatre he played Fortinbras and in 2005 he played the title role in a YDT production. He is a recipient of Sterijino Pozorje Award, Milos Zutic Award, Ardalion Award and Rasa Plaovic Award as well as seven YDT annual awards.

He has performed at the Globe Theatre (London), National Theatre of Montenegro, Boško Buha Theatre, Madlennianum Opera & Theatre.

He has appeared a number of feature films produced both in Serbia and abroad.
